Specializing in Therapy for
Sleep & Insomnia, Anxiety, and Stress
Helping You Achieve Restful Nights & Peaceful Days
Stress, anxiety, and sleep difficulties are powerful forces that can wreak havoc on all aspects of your life, leaving you feeling overwhelmed, frustrated, and exhausted.
My name is Mariam Daneshgar and I am a Registered Social Worker and Psychotherapist specializing in issues related to Sleep, Stress, and Anxiety. I help tired, worried and/or sleepless individuals to overcome their insomnia and sleep challenges, effectively manage their stress, and/or alleviate their anxiety. I work with busy professionals, parents, and students to help them achieve growth, balance, and wellness so that instead of just 'showing up' in their lives, they can happily start 'participating' and living the life that they desire and deserve.
Whether your goal is to resolve your insomnia or sleep-related challenges and have a restful and restorative sleep, effectively manage your current life stressors, treat your anxiety and its symptoms, or to just have a safe space to express and process your thoughts and feelings, I am here to support you!
As both an Anxiety and a Behavioural Sleep therapist I support individuals experiencing difficulty with any one or a combination of the following:
What does 'Harmonia'mean?
Harmonia is the immortal Ancient Greek goddess of harmony and balance. Her parents are the goddess of Love (Aphrodite) and the god of War (Ares). She is thought to have the power and the ability to influence all forms of peace, including mental, physical, and conceptual ones.
Harmonia Counselling & Psychotherapy Services was founded with the distinct purpose of helping you achieve, restore, and maintain balance between your frantic energy and your inner calm and to reach a place in your life that you feel at peace and happy.
